Hydroseeders contain a tank with integrated mixing machine in order to homogenously mix different components (seed, fertilizer, amendment agents and soil binding agents). Further, a pump system with extension tubes for spraying machines or manual spray nozzles are used to spray the mixture onto the embankments.
Working with hand nozzles is more exact than with spraying machines. Moreover, the application at difficult accessible construction areas is easier by tube systems. The capacity of such hydroseeder tanks may vary from 500 litres up to 15 000 litres. These machines can be supplied as container upper part, as trailer with one or two axles or as complete machine mounted on a truck.
